GAM 2022 Conference (Gifted Association of Missouri)

In this session we will briefly discuss who are “gifted learners and advanced readers,” provide guiding principles for motivating and engaging students, share online resources, and build teachers’ literacy toolboxes. Using voice and choice is a guiding principle to motivate and engage students so we will share strategies for busy elementary/secondary classrooms. Gifted learners and advanced readers can be reluctant writers so we will briefly delve into writing strategies. Join us to consider big ideas AND to gather activities you can use in your classroom.
